Default transmission cooling unit

Hi,

We are new owners of a 2004 Rialta QD and want to know about installing a transmission cooler. We looked at one that had one and the seller said they are really a good idea to have. Can I get some feedback on this?

1 - good idea?

2 - where best to purchase and get installed?

To me,

a transmission oil cooler is not a "nice to have " but a "must to have " .....

with an oil cooler my temp stays at 180-200 F .......perfect !

If you have any mecanic skills , quite straight forward to do !

I agree as well. I have a transmission cooler from Rialta Heaven. It wasn't that expensive and realitively easy to install. I recently had the transmission fluid level checked and the technician had a difficult time getting the fluid up to operating temperature... because the thing works that well.
