I don't understand your post.

Please explain your problem.

I too have a 95 Rialta. New to me November 11, 2013.

Cheers,

Glenn

The best thing to do is replace the filter and fluid, also add an external cooler. This is what most Rialta owners do to prevent a transmission rebuild. Most likely, your fluid is worn out and transmission is stuck in third (limp mode) from overheating. With the standard trans cooler your temperatures will run between 230*F to 290*F and destroy the longetivety of the fluid. Also check the gear indecator to see if the background is reversed or only reads "drive" regardlist of which gear you are in. There is a "Bobby Green" solution that sometimes can fix this problem and can be found on a site call big tent. You will need to join to be able to see the files that contain lots and lots of repair procedures and fixes for the Rialta. This site is for Rialta owners and was moved from the Yahoo groups when Yahoo changed formats.

Hi Mike,

Can you point me/us to a oil cooler that works for the 95?

Thanks,

Glenn

Here is the URL site for the cooler and other parts. Look for photos of what the parts are and there is a file on big tent on how to add the cooler. There is also a you tube video showing a cooler instulation. The cooler will keep you trans temps around 150*F to 190*F when driving and save a possible trans rebuilt.

You can order the bypass from Dr. Rialta (aka Duane txpigeon@gmail.com) for a better price. I did the cooler instulation myself but you can find a mechanic to do it and use the instructions for instulation.
