The little brackets on the floor - What are these for ?

We have a 2003 QD. There is a small rectangle-shaped metal bracket coming up from the floor directly behind both 2nd row seats. Can anyone tell me what these are for? Looks like they are made for something to hook on to. So far, the only use seems to be to snag flip-flops. Any ideas ?

Since nobody responded...... we finally figured out these anchors are for use when attaching an infant car-seat to the 2nd row seats........

Thanks for your follow up post! We just bought a '97 QD and will be traveling with our infant. I was worried about how to rig the carseat, so that is valuable information!
