SIDE DOOR LOCK

The side door passage lock of my unit cannot be locked from the outside (the deadbolt works fine). The key just won't turn due to the mechanism that locks it from the inside. Has anyone ever had this problem and repaired it?

Harry, Had a problem with mine also. I removed the inside panel & bent the rod which controls the lock. Everything works fine now. It's only four screws to be removed.18
