Sewer Dump Valve and fittings
My Dump valve cap has always leaked a bit and that was due to the outer edge having a knick in it. I have a 1999 HD. Until recently, the knife valves for the Black and Gray did not leak. If they seep, the outer cap (part the sewer hose attaches to) should NOT drip. Mine did. I studied the assembly and realized it is all one piece. I could have just replaced the knife valve gaskets, but since my outer cap edge was knicked, decidede to replace the entire assembly. It is sold as one complete unit with both valves and new cap. That entire unit is just under $50 from Winnebago Parts. I would recommend getting the two new rubber collars while you are at it. You will need a stock piece of 1 1/2" black ABS and a 3" ABS pipe from a home improvement store. Winnebago does not sell those. You just need a couple of inches of those cut, then glued into place. Now the unit is ready to install. It is normal for the larger of the two collars (black tank side) to pucker just a bit so don't panic. Now my system is totally leak free and it wasn't hard to do.
