What is the thermal panel roofing made of. I've just removed a really ugly solar panel and now have many screw holes in the roof. I need to repair these... and I don't want to just put caulking in them... The inside of the holes looks like and aluminum roof... Does anyone know if it is.

The outside of the roof is aluminum, then a layer of styro-type foam, then the inner layer is also aluminum finally covered with the ceiling fabric. There is an air gap between the panels. Might be best to get some properly sized plastic hole plugs that lock in and add some lapping compound or silicone sealant.
