Hi,
I purchased a 2002 Rialta QD from Rialta Heaven in October this year. Rialta Heaven is a small, family run business that only does restoration and resale on Rialta and VW Eurovan Campers. They were very straight forward as to what they do to recondition a unit and will provide you with a written report of repairs made. They will also give you a history of the Rialta you are interested in.
They do not deal in salvage or units that were in an accident, other than minor fender benders. And will give you a clear title. Rialta Heaven has good online reviews and an A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau. They give you a 3-month/3000 mile service warranty on your purchase, and offer extended service warranties for reasonable prices. The service warranties are from AL so you can bring your Rialta to a repair shop of your choice.
I felt comfortable enough with their process that I purchased my Rialta from them sight unseen until I picked it up in Yucaipa. It looked darn near brand new. Everything worked as it should and they will give you a complete orientation on everything in/on your Rialta.
After I picked up mine, I drove it back to Colorado Springs, CO; absolutely no problems, everything worked fine. I then immediately loaded it up for an b-day trip to the Grand Canyon and Poenix, AZ. I have put over 3000 miles on it so far and I am amazed at how well it handles, you truly can park it on a normal car space.
Bottom line, Rialta Heaven sells a good product, are very knowledgeable of the Rialtas, and stand behind their product. They are a bit pricey, but with the reconditioning they do, I believe the peace of mind is worth it.
