Default Rialta generator removal

Just purchased a 2002 Rialta..test ran generator with AC on for 15min at time of purchase..Got home and found out generator will only run for 19 min, tested at least 6 times, vehicle has full tank of gas, took line loose from carb, turned over, not getting fuel, my onan dealer thinks the fuel pump is overheating and shuts off..NOW..the big question, how big a deal is it to drop the generator? i am a back yard mechanic with more time than money..Jerry

To remove the gen set is quite straightforward .....

put the rear wheels on jack stands ( to lift the Rialta ) or the back wheels on ramps .

first disconect all the surrondings : muffller system , fuel line , wiring etc...

then place a flloor jack under it ( put a plywood sheet ) ......

remove bolts & lower slowly while checking ....

No need to remove the generator to replace the fuel pump. Remove the bottom cover plate, about 14 bolts, and it's under there.
