Refrigerator will not light on Propane2005 Rialta

Just Purchased a 2005 Rialta RV222QD and we cannot get the Refr. to light on Propane....The propane tank is on........We can hear the ignitor trying to start........Thought maybe it had another switch to turn the propane on.....but have not found one...........any help

I had the same problem when I purchased my 2003. The problem could be several things, but it's most likely the igniter(the thing that creates the spark)


BE SURE THE PROPANE IS TURNED OFF AT THE TANK and then remove the top of the stove, You'll see the igniter under the burners which you can remove easily.



The igniter has several wires going to it. Be sure you attach them to the same terminals when you replace it. You can find the part on line. I noticed that the replacement part had been 'updated' from the original part.
