I removed my VCR player from the back and am contemplating replacing it with a small DVD/Blueray player. The power is 12V and the connections to the front TV look like RCA jacks ( composite ). If I find a solution, I'll post it here.

If such a beast existed, and they don't, it would be so complicated it would cost way more than it's worth. The issue being that a VCR doesn't have a single head like a cassette player, those adapters were cheap and easy back in the day.

I would suggest you pull the unit out and see if there is any type of auxiliary inputs at the back. That way you could just play from a dvd player and input directly into the tv or into the VCR.

moving forward..what we did with our 2006 B was to strip out all the old stuff, tv, converters etc filling a large box. bought a new 20" samsung from costco for under $130...digital- no converters have a usb in and on board media player controlled from remote...put movies, tv shows downloads etc onto usb thumb drive and play on tv. a thumb drive can hold hundreds of hours of movies...in no space at all. mike
