Default Low hrs generator Access

I have a very low hour generator that won't start. I check fuel there is some in the bowl checked spark its hot. So here is what I am thinking that it hasn't been run long enought o get varnish out of the carb. Everything say runit for 1/2hr at least every month, So my guess is the carb is gunked up and needs cleaning or replacement. Any suggestions?

Thenext problem is access to the genset. There must be a way to get the puppy out of compartment it is in so you can work on it with relative ease. I am think there must be a few bolts to remove that would allow the unit to slide out at least a little but maybe not. Does anyone have a suggestion other than baby size hands

Thanks

Here is the carburetor Repair Kit from Cummins dealer.

Part # 146-0651 $27.98 + taxes

My local Cummins dealer is:

Nashville Branch

706 Spence Lane

Nashville, TN 37217

(615) 366-4341

Check for your local Cummins dealer and have him order the kit for you. Also check with any local lawn mower repair shops for the repair kit. The carburetor has been removed without dropping the entire unit but hard to reattach the interinal nut.
