Default Improvements for Towing


I have a 2000 model year Rialta. I am using it to tow my racecar. Combined weight of car and trailer are 2700 lbs. The trailer has brakes.


I have added a transmission cooler and towing experience shows good results in first 1000 miles in Florida flat country. Does anyone know of other power train and chassis improvements that might be suggested for frequent towing service?
