Default Great South West Trip from North Carolina

We just had a Great South West Trip from North Carolina.

Destinations were New Orleans and Galveston Island.

We stayed at State Parks and once in a marina.

The Mistletoe State Park near Appling, Georgia was especially with nice amazing campsites......

Our 1995 Rialta ran fine. Its our longest trip to date of 3000 round trip miles.

We've owned it for 2 years. Typically we've done weekend getaways and a couple of 1500 mile round trips.

We now have 49 K miles on the Rialta ( Updates were wood floor and 12 Volt compresser fridge ).

Last winter we ran down to mid Florida and enjoyed that trip also ( since we missed a 10 inch snowfall back home).

Luckily weather was in the 60's and 70's.

Excellent

Everything is new and kept clean.

You can opt for beach front ( behind the sand dunes ) campsites

They also have put a wind shelter and table for each site.

Smartly done

We used Galveston Island ferry system. Free

" The Spot " Great place for a bite to eat on Galveston Island ( the best burgers and view )

It works well ( can freeze if you want ) and uses very little electric.

We rarely plug in to power so great for us.

Its top of the line tech for marine and RV's that uses Danfoss Compressor

Adler/Barbour CS-NC-15 Super Compact cooling kit

Its around $700. Just install on back of orginial Rialta Fridge.

See step by step instructions on " Ultimate Fridge Upgrade " under Modifications on this forum
