CB Radio

Does anyone out there have a CB Radio ? Are they still being used by truckers ?


What brand of radio do you have/recommend ?


I have been "off the road" for many years, but now I have my R, I wanted to buy a decent but inexpensive CB. I have been looking at a Uniden Bearcat 680.

Yes, truckers are still using CB radios but there language is bad to lisenten to. I use mine if a traffic slows down ahead of me or looking for information about something ahead. Any good CB will work (WalMart, Radio Shack, etc.) but you will need an attenna with its on ground plane, as the cab is fiberglass.
