Default Appliance Suggestions

Hey Everyone,

I'm beginning my Rialta redo, and I have ripped out the original fridge / sink and stove.

I could really use some suggestions for a new fridge / stove, as I freely admit, I'm not well versed in such things when it comes to an rv.

My '95 has only 1 house battery (and only room for one in the battery compartment), just fyi.

As I'm redoing the layout of the Rialta to better serve my needs, I was initially thinking that maybe an electric only mini fridge would be the way to go (no need to hassle with propane or LP), but I'm honestly open to all suggestions you fine folks might have.

Thanks!

An electric mini-fridge would require 120V and an inverter, so you'd probably want a 12v compressor fridge. A 12V portable top-loading chest type fridge would be a possibility. They likely are more efficient.

Default DC fridge

I replaced my 3 way fridge with a TruckFridge 65. I probably coul have moved up a size, I didn't do any additional remodeling. I love it

I have a flexible 50 watt solar panel and it keeps right up. A 100 would do even better, but that's too unwieldy for me as it's not permanently attached. Also, my 98 has 2 house batteries.

When running, it draws about 45 watts.

Best!

Have you checked the Rialta info site? This page is more about direct replacement fridges, so may not suit the entire redo you’ve got in mind. Refrigerator Conversion

Isotherm have great refrigerators in all sizes and styles. They are expensive.

Default Thanks everyone

for all of the suggestions, I think I will look at the TF models, as they are pretty competitively priced and offer several options that would seem to work well for an RV.
