Default Anyone Upgraded Their 2" Tow Hitch from Stock Class 1 Rating of 200lbs?

My 1998 Rialta has a 2″ tow hitch receiver that appears to be a Class 1 hitch rated for a 200lb vertical tongue weight capacity. I'm hoping to put a couple of e-bikes on a utility carrier on the back of my Rialta that will have a total weight of 310 lbs, including the carrier. Has anyone had their original hitch receiver and chassis modified to carry a heavier weight. Or is there an after-market hitch that you're aware of that is rated for 350 to 500 lbs, and that fits a Rialta?
