Default 5 cylinder engine failure

Was traveling to pa from nj. Lots of mountains to go up and down. The vehicle became unable to make the climbs so turned out the bosch plugs came apart in the vehicle. Limped home thinking maybe a clogged fuel filter. Never got any misses but lacked power. My mechanic said he had not seen anything like it so I sent the plugs to bosch. They said that the failure was not theirs but various other causes. I now have low compression in #4 cyl and the car is not road worthy. Anyone else have any experience with this?

badluck ,

I would try putting a new plug and drive it for a while ...

maybe some material sticked on the valve and may leave while driving ....

let`s hope !

I was thinking about that and just didn't want to make it worse. How about a magnet into #4 cyl? If not I will take it for a ride. Have you heard of this happening before?
