Default Shower draining slow

We have a 1999 Xplorer 230XLW and noticed that the shower will not drain (very very slowly) if I also use the kitchen sink at the same time. I would guess that water going down the kitchen sink will restrict the shower drain from flowing.

At first I thought there was a clog, so I used the baking soda/vinegar treatment and poured down hot water. Needless to say this didn't solve the problem

Does this happen to your RV?

Thanks,

Chuck

You may have to get under the van the trace out your drains. See if there are any joints you can disconnect and inspect for clogs. My Xplorer had a very slow kitchen sink drain, it ended up being a vent problem. I added a vent and Woosh, it goes good. My van is different as it has two gray water tanks and two fresh water tanks from factory. You may want to try and open the dump lines and then try the shower and sink. If it goes good then, you may have a vent problem. If it makes no difference, then you may still have a restriction somewhere.
