Default Winnebago's EV Transit Prototype

Winnebago is showing off a prototype of an electric campervan.

It's not really practical, with 108 mile range -- that's ideally and presuming that the build weight doesn't reduce it). Though I suppose it would work for people who tend to stay at RV Parks with electric service and don't travel long between stops.

It'll also be interesting to see if parks start to charge extra if you want to charge your traction battery!

I'd love an EV van, but it's just not there yet. Esp if you want to go to remote parks.

Guessing it was built to make a political statement.

It is the exact polar opposite of what an RV needs - long range and power independence.

Maybe. Eventually EVs will get there. Baby steps now. I suppose that was true at the beginning of ICE vehicles as well. Time will tell.
