Touring Coach is their class B moniker

Where did you read that? Do you have a link to it?
Currently the WGO website lists the Paseo under Class Bs along with Travatos and Eras. And Lichtsinn, a WGO dealer says of the Paseo " The Winnebago Touring Coach Paseo is the first B van in the industry on the Ford Transit van....."

Paseo, along with Era and Travato listed as a "Touring Coach motorhome" on their Class B page

From another dealer. They may have changed their mind as they were getting a bunch of push back from their dealers

Perhaps. Only in a few instances and on that page above do I see "Touring Coach". I think they may be dropping that designation entirely. Airstream also uses the term "Touring Coaches". Seems all the Class Bs are under the direction of Russ Garfin at the factory, who oversees Travatos and Eras.
In a September news release " “As Winnebago’s first Class B built on the Ford Transit Van Chassis, the Paseo further elevates our Class B product offerings,” said Winnebago Product Manager Russ Garfin. "

UW’s Autonomoose hits the road — no hands on wheel, no foot on the gas
You need to read close to the bottom

Even if they never get to the point of a Sprinter that can drive itself in traffic on twisty roads, it would be great if they figured out a RV that can park itself.

Agreed.
The technology is already here. If they can parallel park a small car, they sure can park a Class B RV.

The Mercedes Metris has the park assist and parks itself. Not too big a stretch for them to add or to the Sprinter?
