Winnebago has replaced the Era 70C with the 70M. Their website has been updated. It's still a -on a B van

Nice not to have that big window blocked behind the bed when using the main living area. It certainly makes for an upgraded daytime configuration, eliminating a major issue with the 70C, in my opinion. That advantage would have to be balanced by having to make up and tear down the bed (required by most B plans) and possible bed comfort.

Default Test the 70C

Are there dealers that rent out the 70c (now 70M), to check it out? We really like the compactness of the B and the dry bath. rg

Cant wait to see what actual sleeping surface is made of? A really nice comfortable support mattress, or the RV stuff?

Default sleeping

From what I have seen and read, the couch/bed in the 70c / 70m is supposed to be comfortable, rg

Default Bed Width 70c

Width of the bed in the 70c / 70m Winebago says 52". LTV free spirit ss says 54".
same opening in the frame of the van, I believe, who is correct? rg

I would assume that both are correct for the bed installed in their unit.

Default ERA 70M Changes

Some of the changes in the 2017 ERA 70M compared to the 70C:

Continuous dimmable race track ceiling lighting
Firefly multiplex wiring with single touch controls for multiple functions
MAXXAIR premium vent system
New fiberglass bath surround (no door to the rear as in the 70C)
Zamp 100 watt solar system
High gloss cabinetry
Under cabinet accent lighting
Redesigned street-side storage area
Large optional 9” Infotainment Display
Optional collision avoidance
Powered Murphy bed with memory foam top and Froli sleep system (can leave bedding on when folded up)

There may be a few others that I missed...here's a 5 min video:
