Default When to Sanitize Fresh Water Tank?

My wife and I sanitized our fresh water holding tank this spring and have done three trips over the summer. We’re preparing for a 4,500 mile trip and haven’t used our Winnebago ERA in two months. Should we sanitize again or just wait until the end of the season?

I wouldn't. I sanitize once in the spring before my first trip of the year and that's been good enough.

We do one in the spring also, but do flush a little water through it before we leave if it has been a while.

I sanitize our fresh tank twice a year since we live in a hot climate and it sits outside when not in use. But then, we don't drink the water in our fresh tank. Only wash things and bath in it. We use bottled water for drinking and cooking, just in case.
