Default What’s New for 2017 at Pleasure-Way

Pleasure-Way - new stuff for 2017

The 2016's got solar and lithium batteries. The 2017's add a brand name, well documented 2000 watt (4000W surge) Pure Sine Wave inverter with automatic transfer switch. Less than 10W no load draw on the inverter specs.

2017 brochure is now available.

I really like the cabinetry in their units.

Look at how fantastic the battery compartment & wiring looks

I am pretty sure the batteries are lithium iron phosphate or LiFeP04 as are all RV batteries that I am aware of. However, the converters to a Tee almost all say lithium ion in their literature. I even see it in so called professional articles discussing batteries. It seems to have become an accepted word description like Coke or Kleenex.

I suspect that DavyDD is correct that they are LiFeP04. However, it is not incorrect to use the term "lithium ion". All lithium batteries involve the movement of lithium ions. So "lithium ion" is simply a generic term for lithium batteries, no matter the chemistry. Lithium iron is a KIND of lithium ion.

Bummer PW still has the old appliance systems. I know its tried and true technology but it would be awesome to get a PW with diesel heat/hot water, and a second alternator instead of an Onan generator. Also, too bad the Ascent doesn't have swivel seats like the RT Agile. However, I do like their side screen... nice setup if you don't have a sliding screen door.
