Well he was an investigatorial journalist. Maybe he got a 'scoop' from a reliable source? /s It appears he is not 'past it'

Anyone know: Did the Wendlands call their first Etrek a prototype early or much later?

Reminds me of a spouse grieving over the loss of the late beloved... and remarrying a week later.

And in this case the spouse had something to do with the loss of 'beloved'.

by the way, Roadtrek employees are starting to come out of the woodwork, on to the forums and telling the tales. Here's one:

"...reading your post...love the allusion of pitchforks. We as former employees need to ban together and file a civil suit to take these guys down. Working there for almost 7 yrs I saw what was happening, saw them hiding vans from the bank, if I wanted to keep my job, shut my mouth. So much for that! Jim Hammill, Howard Statton and Jeff Stride are the people who need to be held accountable in this! They were good at hiding things until Thor came into the picture."

Default Taxes on Non-Cash Compensation

Wonder if the Wendlands and other RV Industry "Ambassadors" are paying their fair share of taxes on the lucrative compensations, like free use of a $150,000 plus RV?

YouTube, Google and Amazon payments are reported to the IRS by 1099-MISC form. But what about Roadtrek and LTV? Hmmm?

My dear brother-in-law once had a lucrative YouTube channel that was paying him over $500/month. Then he got greedy - he and his wife tried to up their click count themselves and got caught. End of that income.

They were very good Ambassadors for EHG NA
For those who may have missed it, the live session (from Hawaii) was very helpful and open.

Looks like Mike will be buying his new RV after the test drives of LTV options...

We are just borrowing this for a couple weeks. But we’re getting close to buying one. Gulp. Haven’t made the final decision yet but getting close

At this point, they're going to have to define "buying" and "one" for me. Even then, I doubt I'd take them seriously.

Exactly. He might be referring to buying one chassis and the RV portion is thrown in for free.

I'm not on facebook. Someone on the fb 'Ambassador' forum might want to tests the 'waters' with this video:

Wow! Robyn has a great YouTube show. Ten times more informative than the constant filler in Wendland's stuff. She's always been very open about the good and bad of her Leisure Travel Van. And she buys the things she reviews. Wonder what she ended up getting.

Just spent a couple months in Sarasota visiting our daughter and grand daughter. Leaving soon to go out west and then work our way north back to Alaska. Trying to stay as far away from civilization as possible...
