I shopped them- there are 4 different floor plans.

some rialta owners like the rear dinnette best, some like the fridge, some like the shower.

there are some neat design aspects.

as I recall the 2002+ model has more power from the v6

some replacement parts can be had from gowesty.com such as for the fiamma awnings

I grew up camping VW bus campers. god I used to hate going over the bridge to Galveston at 45 miles per hour. swore off VWs ever since. gas milage is nice since we like to drive from Florida to California to escape the heat and it is mainly flat land. gas is cheap right now and hopefully will stay down. we're at 2.10 a gallon here in Tampa!

A couple of good places to start:
http://www.classbforum.com/forums/f52/
https://groups.io/g/Rialta
Winnebago Rialta Motor Home

Lots of good info on these sites.

Pros:
big enough but not too big. At 22 feet, easy to drive and park
Great mileage. Average 18-22 MPG
Relatively good use of space
Low step in. Easy to get in and out of

Cons:
Not ideal if you are over 5'10"
Not a lot of power ( either I5 or V6 )
Cannot carry a lot of weight. Ideal for 2+

There is a buyers checklist on the third site, please check it out
