Default Weight of my Road Trek 190 P

I've been reading that it's a good idea to know the loaded weight of ones motor home. The GVWR of my 190P is 9600 pounds, but I haven't had any luck locating someone who can actually weigh it. Is this an issue I should be concerned about and if so any suggestions for finding a scale? Thanks in advance.

John,
You can go to the Truck Stops, most of them have CAT weigh scales and get it done, not terribly expensive. Also, you can try Moving Van Co's - they will often do it for you. I once pulled into a State Weigh Scale...they took care of me. Keeping that weight in mind is a good thing. Safe travels. Ron

If you're in Canada, or more specifically Ontario, there are MTO weigh stations for trucks and other heavies
on our 400 series highways, and if they're not busy, they'll weigh you. Sometimes they leave the scales active
after they've gone home for the day, and you can just drive through on your own. Look for the red lights on the
scales data board, usually located on the drive through roadway, just past the little office building.
If you can see the red lights on the board, the scales are probably working.
I think the CAT scales at truck stops are pay-per-weigh.

We took our boat to a land fill sight and they weighed it for us. They have done it for many people I know and they don't mind if they are not busy.

I took my trailer and tow vehicle to a waste transfer station. They weighed them for free but if I wanted a print out there was a charge.

I've done that too. When I posted, I was thinking there was another place you could get a free
weigh-in, but I couldn't remember where.
It's probably one of the easiest ways to weigh, by the way.
