I have 144” Sprinter Camper Van 2-wheel drive with practically factory ground clearance. This ground clearance saved me a few times from hanging up on some forestry roads obstacles. From my perspective with either 4x4 or 2x4 ground clearance is critical. I often see these commercially converted camper vans with side skirts reducing road clearance significantly.

Here is an approximation of skirts dimension with Cahaba, van's height used as reference - 6.5”.

The Roam is based on the 2500 159 inch wheelbase Promaster which is FWD. That makes it easy to put in the Braun UTF wheelchair lift as there is no drive shaft to the rear. This is a great wheelchair accessible handicap van that can be used on trips and just around town.
