Default Trouble - Perma-Flush water valve

I have a Perma-Flush toilet with foot pedal. The water valve leaks. It appears to be impossible to get a rebuild kit, and it also appears to be impossible to find a valve. The company's website (Sanitation Equipment) was not renewed either. My local RV dealer suggests I install a new 'Aqua Magic 5' toilet. I would just like to get a new Perma-Flush water valve or even a rebuild kit. Any ideas to help me out? Thanks.

Try this link:

http://www.go-rv.com/coast/do/catalog/s ... arch=perma

Many dealers link to that parts catalog. I picked one in BC.

Thanks for the reply Markopolo. I have that on-line catalogue as well, as does the dealer. The valve, along with most parts, are marked as s/o (sold out). There are only about 6 parts for that Perma-Flush toilet currently available on that on-line catalogue. Guess it's just too old.
I'll wait for some additional replies, then try some wrecking places; else its the Aqua Magic 5 for me.

The Thetford model Aqua Magic IV looks very much like your existing loo.
It's what's in our '02 RT 190P. Good unit so far. No problems.

Yeah, I may have to go with that, either the IV or the V. We've got a foot or so of snow today, and not a good time to visit around to the RV places.

We got a hit and run storm today too. Not quite a foot, but there's snow on the ground now.
If the footprint is the same (or very close) for both toilets, that might make it easier to do.

Would you believe it - I found a brand new Perma-Flush water valve - just what I was looking for. And after we'd already decided to go with the Aqua-Magic 5 Hi-Rise toilet in place of the Lo-Rise Perma-Flush. Whatever will I do with 2 toilets. (On second thought, never mind.)

@Johnny R: I'd be interested to buy the Perma-Flush water valve replacement from you, if you still got it and don't need it - just broke mine during the holidays (guess it was old age). Alternatively I'd be happy if you could point me to a parts dealer. Thanks.
