Default Travato windows and screens

Has anyone with a G or K had issues here? Our K's screens don't seat all the way into the frames. I've put duck tape around edges to keep bugs out. The sliding window are too tight for my wife to open and close. ALSO the sliding screen on side door pops out of its track if not opened carefully. I read a while ago about someone with the same problems but didn't remember if dealer would fix them. Just looking for input...we'll probably talk with dealer toward end of season for warranty work

My windows operate smoothly, but the screens don't fit all that well. You need to be careful about where you grab the screen door to open or close it, somewhere around the mid point top to bottom, or it won't move smoothly. It doesn't seal all that well at the top when it's closed. I'll work on that when I have some time. The windows screens are pretty much hopeless.

Both the windows and screen door benefit from lubrication. 100% silicone is OK, but wax works better.

I'm getting these in lieu of opening a sliding window at night for ventilation.

Yep! When we went to pick up our 59K last week we noticed that one of the screen frames was "pinched" a little too tight. This was due to the frame being buckled when they put the screws in. When we tried to close the screen, there was about a 1/4" gap. They took it in back, and what I believe they did was took out the frame screws, which allowed the frame to "straighten out" and rethread/re-seated the two screws, spacing them further apart. After doing this the screen was able to close properly. Did that make sense?

I loosened the screws around the window frames and they seem to be sliding easier. Nothing has changed about the screens though. I did make a mod to hold the sliding screen door in better..it seems to be working. We are going to take the camper back to the dealer in October to see if anything can be done under warranty.

Two things on your door - only grab it from the mid-point and the manufacturer told me there is a lubricant you are supposed to use periodically on the track.

Oh- also don't try to close the sliding door while the screen door is closed (in place). My kids did this and slightly bent the track. Now the screen door catches on the bottom track.
