Travato Step Cover

Has anyone put any kind of step cover on the retractable step? I see those for sale that wrap around or stick on but just eyeballing the enclosure it doesn't look like there is enough clearance for a cover when retracted. If you've tried it I'd like to hear about it. Thanks.

You are correct, there is no clearance. I keep a mat in the doorway for feet wiping.
