Default Travato Rear Window Shades, WeatherTech Bump Step, and Organized Obie Storage Pockets

A few other projects I got to today. Installed MCD shades on the rear windows, mounted a Weathertech bump step and mounted a couple canvas storage pockets from Organized Obie.

Wincrasher's Travels: MCD Rear Window Shades, Organized Obie and Weathertech Bumper Step

I highly recommend a perusal of the Organized Obie site. They have alot of cool gadgets for getting your RV organized. Not cheap, but neat items.

Another thumbs up for Organized Obie. Super nice folks, and I can just about guarantee you can find something there you can use.

And - if you don't want to screw into your RV walls, the VHB adhesive "snads" will do the trick. We have some on an interior wall that didn't seem like it would hold a screw well.

Why did you think it wouldn't hold a screw well? Is it MDF or particle board?

Some walls are just thin paneling. Others are plywood. The ones I selected to mount the pockets are plywood.

I looked into those shades when I saw them on FitRV, but rejected them because there's a lot of light leak. They just don't lay close enough to the window glass, especially up top. Probably not an issue in a "k", but that's where your pillow is in a "g".

Our bed is up higher. Guess we never noticed!
You can tuck the material behind the rubber plugs in the sides of the window, and it holds it closer.
