I have had a Class B for well over 40 years. The beauty of the Class B is that you can go into any town and get what you want. Generally I only hook up electric until I know that I am there to stay. I made a sign that says Site Occupied and leave in on the picnic table or I leave our chairs out.

Twice I have had the site rented to another RV. Sometimes there is just a mix up at the office. While in both cases, I was given another site, they were not sites I would have picked out myself.

any "campground" with a good number of permanent residents is good way to dispose of unwanted items...

the more blue tarps, the less you want to be there

Another great tip! Rather than cheap blue tarps, I'll use slightly more spendy silver tarps spread all over the place for area shade.

I was going to mention our BuddyRider to her but you beat me to it! We love our BuddyRider for our 14lb dog.
