Towing a Smart Car

Hi all hope everyone is having a great summer. I have a question about towing a smart car . can you tow a smart car with all wheels on the ground or do you need to trailer it a different way?

John, I would check with the Manufacturer about towing with all four down; the Dealer should be able to answer, but somehow I put their reliability on the same parallel as a RV Dealer. See it in print and you have the answer. Just my two cents, Ron.

Smart Cars used to be towed all wheels down but I think they changed them with the 2016 model year. Don't quote me but it has to be checked.

The manufacturer does not recommend flat towing a smart car.
