Nice to see that upfitters are starting to realize the sense in combined black/gray tanks.

I’m not impressed. They are vague on the details. It is a 2500 chassis and not a 3500 dually but they don’t even say that. It is very deficient on storage space just by the cabinets alone. No microwave. Refrigerator is obviously under counter. The Volta system must be on the passenger side under the bed.

BTW, I was just out at Yellowstone this week but I cut our trip and came home today. I have a case of shingles. The place was crawling with short Sprinter vans more so than Promasters and Transits were non-existent except for commercial touring passenger coaches. Most of the short Sprinters were 4x4s. I opted to not get a 4x4 as I see no need for it in a Class B van but I did opt for the factory 2” lifts that come with 4x4s and I have plenty of clearance. 8” under my side nerf bars of storage, dump/macerator/steps, etc. and 11” clearance of underneath tanks which I have plenty of with 40 gal. Fresh, 26 gal. Grey and 25 gal. Black and BTW, I can combine Grey and Black for 51 gal total. Approach angles are much better than 170 WB Sprinters which helps on roads with dips. 4x4s subtract about 300 lbs. of carry weight which I needed for those tanks.

Brochure shows microwave over head to the right of sink. Looks like a pretty rushed brochure - me too 4x4 offering.

Yes - you can get a 4x4 dually Sprinter 3500HD. Agree that fridge is small and in an awkward place IMHO. I saw it live at the Hershey show last week and was not impressed. They are just trying to cash in on the market that Winnebago Revel has dominated for several years now. But of course it does have a certain appeal to the younger more adventurous van lifers at over $200,000 a pop.

I wonder why such a love affair with Russian diesel heaters, first Winnebago now Tiffin both using Timberline hydronic heating systems https://elwellcorp.com/product-categ...ng/timberline/ based on a Russian Planar D5 furnace. Must be cost reduction. https://advers.ru/engine-pre-heaters-overview

This unit is totally out of character for Tiffin. Maybe Thor made them do it? Also, even in an adventure van, trying to use the wet bath should *not* be part of the adventure. I despise any floor plan that assumes shelving in the bathroom that blocks access to the toilet and shower is a good idea. I dislike the Revel for the same reason.

My bladder would not allow clearing out a closet before I could use the toilet.
