It appears to be well designed, sturdy, fairly easy raising and lowering of the tire, can be lowered right or left to allow rear door access, it stills allows use of the 2" receiver for other things and is fairly inexpensive ($530 with shipping on Amazon).

Look at the way Midwest Automotive does theirs. Easy to access etc. Mine seems pretty straightforward. Not certain they make it or use a supplier. They have an adept shop for certain!
