We had great road trips in northern Wales on roads that were no where near as luxurious wide as in that Scotland link view. The mountains were the tallest in Great Britain (Mount Snowden). However, no way could we have done it with a Class B camper van. A Kia Sorrento SUV felt huge.

As for great road trips in a Class B I have to say the Alaska Highway and the roads to get to the start of it is a classic trip that should be experienced.

Yes I have been all over Wales. " Roads" are more like glorified laneways. Area maps are marked by the number of accidents on the " roads". Really a relief to get an A Road or Motorway, so frustrating and nerve wracking otherwise
