Default Testing the water for used Pleasure way.

Just testing to see what might be out there for used Pleasureway's, somewhere in the early 2000's. What kind of condition, mileage and price plus anything else I might need to know.

1997 PW; not interested in selling. We got our PW through family in 2016. It had 45K on it. After 7 years we've added 35k. That's about 5k/yr so I'm guessing that you're looking at c. 100k miles for around a 2000. Fit and finish on a PW are exceptional. Cabinetry and walls/headliner are still excellent. One exception is that the white sink/bath floor have slowly oxidized and turned to "almond" color. All the appliances are other mfgs. Easily replaced although we've replaced nothing so far. I know it's "vintage" but we love it. I believe that when PW went into the 2000s one of the things they did was added 3" on each side after the drivers/passengers area. That .5 foot that we don't have would be nice. Makes it less crowded. Price? Who knows? Good luck.

PW group on FB has a few members who bought in at height of market and are now realizing they are over their heads and upside down.

Not me though, headed for Grand Canyon to get away from the valley heat for a couple of days.

There is a 2002 that is for sale on this group now. I think the price is $37,000. I'm more familiar with the 1990's PW's. My first Class B was a 1998 Coach House, and my current is a 1999 Roadtrek. The PW seems to be a cross between the two. They have some features similar to a Roadtrek and some similar to the Coach House. They look well made. Prices for all 3 brands for late 90's to early 00's are higher now than years ago when I bought mine, but people are able to find ones at lower prices. For example on prices, I paid $20,000 for my 1999 Roadtrek 190 Popular 12 years ago. I've seen the same year and model priced at $35,000 in the past year on at least 3 different ones. I've seen them closer to $25,000 more often the past 3 years. There's a Facebook group for people with older Roadtreks. You might check to see if there's one for PW's too.

I recommend you join the PW owners and wanna be FB group, and a few other PW FB groups. They often have folks selling, and you can get answers to your questions directly and indirectly from the posts.

We have a 2013 Excel TS. We love it. PW has great quality and customer support. I have done a number of upgrades to make mine better to suit my wants and needs, but many folks in the groups haven't done a thing to theirs and are just as happy. If you are looking for a Class B, you won't go wrong owning a PW.

We have a 2003 Roadtrek 190. It is similar to a Pleasureway. It is in very good condition and are considering selling it after a final trip this summer. 93,000 miles and asking 30,000 but open to offers. You can reply for more information if interested.
