Default Swamp Coolers??

I am looking for info on owner built rv swamp coolers. The units on the market are as much as a roof a/c unit, which for a pump, fan, matting and float is ridiculous. I am thinking about building my own, the biggest problem is the height. I need to keep it under eight inches tall to fit in my garage.
Any input would be a help-
thanks in advance...

Default Swamp Coolers

Thanks, but did you see the prices of these?
The portable units are more realistic, but in a real class b, I can't afford the space.
