Sun glare on Becker navigation screen

Has anyone found a shield that blocks the occasional sun glare from the sides without blocking normal viewing the rest of the time?

I made my own for now using the mostly black packaging from a case of Coke Zero. Cut separate pieces for the sides and top. Inserted pieces into the gaps around the screen. Took a couple of hours of trial and error while wife was driving. Big reduction in glare. My unit is a Kenwood. But I bet it can work on your Becker. Plan to find some matte black plastic material and make a permanent one.
