Default Strange microwave interaction with Genny

OK, this seems a little bit strange to me. I知 having some problems with my generator, this does not seem strange. But, the problem I知 having is a little confusing. If I start my generator it will most likely cut out. I can do this two or three times and it値l run for a short period of time and then stop running. So normally I would think that I should be reaching for the seafoam. But, just for an experiment I unplugged my microwave ( the micro is only plugged in, not actually running). And then started the generator and it ran fine. I let it warm up for five minutes or so, plugged the microwave back in and it kept running. After that I was able to run the microwave or air conditioning or whatever. So, any ideas.
Thanks for any help
Michael

You're Onan is under a voodoo spell, similar to what happens to all of us at some point.

Can you make the same thing happen with some other small load, such as the TV or a bunch of lights? (The microwave load is small but not zero, even when not running.)

Let me think about how to do that. As you probably know, the Micro comes on automatically. So that is how I isolated it. Now I'm wondering what else might come on/is hard wired???? Now you've got me thinking ... Forget the dead chicken, Keep the ideas coming.
Thanks
Michael

With the microwave unplug does your generator power your Air Conditioner? If yes, Microwave is shorted.
