Default Starlink and Quartzsite

Residential with portability. Quartzsite is not my service address for those of you that know what that means. Too congested to stream video in the evening but web browsing works fine. Speed around 100mbps in the morning 20 mbps or less in the evening. Just an FYI.

20mbps is too little to stream video? Hmmm, my cabin has DSL at 20 max and I'm able to stream video on my 60" tv.

Agreed, but it didn’t work here. Starlink was up and down yesterday evening. At the moment all OK. Will report again this evening. Still happy to have it. Broadband works fine, at midnight!

I suspect the problem with Starlink streaming at 20mbps happens because it's not always that speed. It probably varies significantly and unpredictably over time, which drives your streaming apps crazy and causes them to decide streaming isn't possible.

3.2/3.3 videos work fine. Who knows, who cares. Viva Starlink!
