Default Sprinter tire pressure

What are suggested front and rear dual tire pressures for Winnebago Boldt 4X4 for both highway driving and rough non-maintained secondary roads?

I think you need to start with the tires - manufacturer, model, size, maximum tire pressure and load rating. Then look at your gvw. In my sprinter (2500) running michelins, load rating "E", with maximum pressure of 80 psi, I run 75 psi in the rear and 55 in the front. With a fully loaded van, I am at my gvwr of 8500 pounds. I got my ballpark figures from a michelin tire chart I found on-line. If you have 10 people respond, you will have 10 different answers. This works for me.

you should have a sticker from the RV manufacturer ( winnebago, not MB) on the door pillar

it should spec size, load rating and inflation for the tires

from there you can try going up or down to find a good combination of traction, handling and MPG

if you are dumping air for off road use, you may want to air up for highway use

Jim: Thanks much for the great advice! That makes total sense. My intent is to air up and down as the road conditions require. I’m taking the Sprinter to some remote areas in Idaho in July and August. I know there will be some challenging conditions there.
