I may one of the few people that have actually owned two Sprinters and I have a new GWV Legend to boot. My first Sprinter was a 2005 Pleasure-way Plateau. I traded it in for the 2011 Great West Van Legend after 5 years of ownership and putting 61,000 miles on it. The dealer put it back on the market for about $6,000 less than I paid for it and sold it in less than a month. I don't know if he got that price. So, yes, they hold their value and demand and satisfaction means you don't find too many for resale.
Since I bought a new GWV Legend after owning an excellent Pleasure-way Plateau I guess I consider the Legend the best. I had five seasons of travel experience and did a lot of research to come up with my decision. It really depends on what features you want, what is more important to you, and what layout pleases you the most. The four Canadian converters all make an excellent B and have the most experience in working out the intricate systems crammed into a van. My detailed reasons for the GWV Legend can found here:
