Default Sprinter Based Class B's Resale??

I am considering the purchase of a new class B- Sprinter based- probably the Great West Legend. 2012

Feedback....good van?

Compairison to others?

Great west owners, any major issues?

Resale, Do they hold their value more than Say Gas Class B's or C and A campers?

Interesting I do not see many used Class B's especially the diesels. why?

Thanks for taking the time to add your thoughts!

Class B's a are small part of the total RV market - not that many units are made each year. Sprinter based B's are relatively new. (since maybe 2003 ??? ) So they are a percentage of an already small segment = not many around for sale.

Here are a couple of searches for price points:

Have a browse of this thread. One of the contributors has a GW Legend, I believe.
Perhaps you could PM him for more detailed info?

I may one of the few people that have actually owned two Sprinters and I have a new GWV Legend to boot. My first Sprinter was a 2005 Pleasure-way Plateau. I traded it in for the 2011 Great West Van Legend after 5 years of ownership and putting 61,000 miles on it. The dealer put it back on the market for about $6,000 less than I paid for it and sold it in less than a month. I don't know if he got that price. So, yes, they hold their value and demand and satisfaction means you don't find too many for resale.

Since I bought a new GWV Legend after owning an excellent Pleasure-way Plateau I guess I consider the Legend the best. I had five seasons of travel experience and did a lot of research to come up with my decision. It really depends on what features you want, what is more important to you, and what layout pleases you the most. The four Canadian converters all make an excellent B and have the most experience in working out the intricate systems crammed into a van. My detailed reasons for the GWV Legend can found here:
