Sink strainer

I'm considering replacing our sink with a Dometic SNG 4133 sink. However, it seems to use a syphon as pictured below. Would I be able to fit a standard RV strainer?

By the way, what are the standards for RV strainers?

I suggest calling the Panther RV store (no association) to find out which drain outlet will fit both, your plumbing and desired SMEV/Dometic sink. I called them a few times and they were always helpful.
