Default shocks, axle question

I have a 1985 chevy g 20 sportsmobile. it weighs 4185 pounds and sits quite low. Any suggestions for beefing up the suspension? It also looks like the pass. side steering axle sits back further than the drivers side. Any idea why? The van has 73,000 on it and is in very good condition. Thank You.

Default Re: shocks, axle question

Just bumping this up for more visibility. I don't understand the mechanical side well enough to help.
