Default Shakedown trip report.

Well, I took the new to us, '99 Coachmen Saratoga on a mountain biking trip last weekend as a shakedown cruise to make sure everything was in order before I take the wife out in it. I am happy to report that all systems are go. The group that went consisted of me in the van, another in a self-built Promaster conversion and one hammock camper in a Subaru Forester. We ended up at Hungry Mother State Park just outside of Marion, VA, in the Camp Burston campground. Nice park. Quiet and beautiful, with a wonderful lake and great biking trails. Great camping, riding and company. What set it off however was how well the Saratoga performed. I had been wanting a van for years and this one just fell into my lap a few weeks ago. I could not be happier. I am already planning a few mods, updates and upgrades. Here are a few pics of the campsite and area for those who are interested.

Glad to hear everything went smooth. We are planning to visit Hungry Mother late October. Ron
