Please try not to get too far afield with this simple question. What do you think would be some selection(s) for a FRIEND and their RV Class B, Motorhome for Christmas? a real suggested gift idea(s).

If they don't like cooking on propane, maybe a table-top induction unit. Just over one foot square, 3" high, and under $100. You'd also need an induction-ready pan. Our $59 induction unit came with a non-stick one in the box.

Here's a few small gift ideas: one of the handiest little gadgets we have in our Class B LTV Free Spirit is a small magnetic flashlight that we attach to the metal part of the slider door. It's handy for those night tasks such as walking the dog. You can find such flashlights in a variety of price points and enhancements. Ours is inexpensive from Harbor Freight. Another cherished item is our travel journal.

I have one, if I remember correctly, I learned about their existence from one of your earlier post.

Works very well with propane, OK with white gas / gasoline, but unfortunately it doesn’t work with my Origo alcohol stove. I assume alcohol to oxygen ratio is too low without increased vaporization with actual flame’s heat.

If I am having trouble like that, I use it to ignite a little scrap of paper.

I tried igniting paper successfully as well, I think the difference is that paper can be inserted into the arc, but with my Origo the igniter's arc is a few millimeters away from the wick. The container maximum fill is 50% so wicking material is no soaked at the stainless steel mesh. I am pretty certain that there is no enough alcohol vapor at the arc.

I make my coffee outside on a portable stove so as not to disturb sleeping family members. This is a recent upgrade that, while not perfect, is quite handy and very cool:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1. It is a combination pour-over coffee maker / USB rechargeable burr coffee grinder / travel mug. All the parts fit in the mug and it makes quite good coffee. Pour-over brewing does a better job with light roast coffee than french press.

A pair of clinometers (level indicators). One for front-to-back, and another for side-to-side. They can be stuck somewhere inside the van in a spot visible to the driver, for help in selecting the most level spot, or for guidance in placing leveling blocks. We bought our daughter and SIL Camco water filters for their new travel trailer. After watching the Humble Road video of his first Class B's one year warranty check and the water pump failure and iron staining sediment in the water tank it appears there are a lot of suspect water sources out there.

We have a built in water filter but still put an external filter on the hose.

A small pair of good binoculars.
A bird ID book.
Home made fire starters... DIY using egg boxes/sawdust/candle wax. Google how to make.

One of my favorites is an AeroPress. I have a DeLonghi espresso maker hardwired into my campervan. I used it for 1 year and it already needs repaired. Decided to pull out my camping AeroPress which uses no electricity, perfect for boondocking and I think the coffee tastes as good as my espresso. Just heat water, pour into AeroPress, wait a couple minutes, stirring occassionall with the paddle and press. I'm going to remove the DeLonghi and recover my counterspace.
