No..took some drilling. It uses some body plugs underneath to help with alignment. We did second side in half the time.

Wayne, Now that you have touched the boards you ordered, if you had to do it again would you get the aluminum ones you got or go for the stainless steel ones?

Okay, thanks. Picked mine up a few hours ago. Still trying to decide if I'll self-install or pay someone else.

Well, we're Steppin' Up in the world now into our 59G. Laverne O-Mega 36" Cab Steps from EuroCampers.com ($242.00 plus shipping). Installation by a local shop (who sells Laverne products and didn't care that I had purchased them elsewhere). One and one half hours @ $60 per hour = $90.00. HUGE improvement. HAPPY WIFE!!!!

And thanks to you, Wayne, for posting about yours to begin with. These are clearly a "must have".

I think that is much better than the power step... less chance of the things malfunctioning. (as in no chance... unless they fall off?)

Wayne, I live 30 miles from EuroCampers office so I drove over and picked mine up. I had to pay Missouri sales tax but not shipping. On another forum people are asking me about shipping costs. Do you recall what your charge was?
