Default Roof Cleaning

I've got a 94 Dodge class B. The hightop roof feels like rubber. There are a few products devoted to cleaning rubber roofs. OTOH, I've been looking at a forum where a number of members said soap & water is all you need to clean your roof. One guy recommended using mop & glow. The odd thing is no one said they were using regular car wash products on the roof.

What are older class b owners using to clean their roofs?

Just to remove tree sap and road dust etc

Bucket of soapy water with a garden hose mop hookup while on a ladder.
Fiberglass, comes up very nice
