Yes i saw it yesterday. It's pretty cool. Right now none of the Class B's quite fits my needs. But luckily I'm not planning to buy yet...

Re: Roadtrek Zion - Promaster based Class B Motorhome
I prefer the Zion's back cushion over the Travatos 59K none, but I suppose you could have some made up. Also the overhang cabinet is not a bad way to add storage. I think the Travato 59K is needing a portable table between the beds although I suppose again you could acquire one.A large enough bathroom is what is winning me over to the Travato 59K.

Re: Roadtrek Zion - Promaster based Class B Motorhome
The 59k has 2 beds not 2 couches. We have same floorplan in our Coachmen Saratoga and leave the back cushions in the garage. We have 2 captain chairs up front to sit in as does the 59k. We didn't like dealing with the cushions at bed/nap time. My dealer is supposed to get the 59k in real soon. I will report back.

Re: Roadtrek Zion - Promaster based Class B Motorhome
Marko suggested a bag to put the bedding in and act as a bolster to gain back support.

Re: Roadtrek Zion - Promaster based Class B Motorhome
I don't recall ever seeing a sliding screen on a Roadtrek before. I wonder if they used Dan's ( http://www.classbforum.com/phpBB2/vi...=25328&#p25086 ) or developed one in house?
It's a nice upgrade

Re: Roadtrek Zion - Promaster based Class B Motorhome
Looks like Dan's part to me.
Wow, that is a great review from Colonial. They really have stepped up their game on reviews with details!
Too bad it's taken so long to get this kind of information out there. Lots to like in this van.
Things I didn't know, but I like:
There is a trailer hitch! I don't think the show vans had one.
Cabinetry is plywood, not MDF or particle board.
Electric steps for the front doors.
Gravity Water fill in the drivers door jamb
Service bay with all your hookups.
So much storage! Like that end cabinet where the power cord was. Wasn't that just an empty space in the show van? Now it's a cabinet.
Things I'm not sure I like:
Power connector on the rear corner.
Exterior Shower compartment.
Rear screen. Too bad it's not a pull down on some of the Leisure Vans.
I wish he had shown or talked more about the underhood generator or showed us the house battery. I can only assume that if the engine is running, the underhood generator is also running, so it's just a matter of turning on the inverter to get power in the coach.

Re: Roadtrek Zion - Promaster based Class B Motorhome
Good video for sure. Two things though: The wet bathroom is tight for space so why not have a foldup sink I have seen somewhere. And two: the beds at the rear show one useable bed IF the bolster is added or just one on the left side and the one on the right would be very narrow, if I am seeing the video correctly. Should be able to have two people sleeping back there without connecting the middle cushion. Is that possible? Otherwise, it is well designed for it's size and reasonable quality for the price. Should be popular. I too don't like the shore power plug at the back.

i tested the side sofa-it can be put out all the way or only partial. to leave a gap is possible if bolster is not used or sofa not put out all the way. this was designed for best full king bed. the twin part will work but not as well
a single person would say this was perfect sleep arrangement 2 not exactly.
when i get mine and get some actual experience on the bed i will post

Re: Roadtrek Zion - Promaster based Class B Motorhome
Love the red color - much richer looking than what Winnebago is doing.
The rear sofa, though, I don't care for. Diminishes alot of the potential utility of this van.
The power connector looks ridiculous on this unit - bright white piece against that dark color. They should just turn the bracket so it's up and under the van's bumper.

Re: Roadtrek Zion - Promaster based Class B Motorhome
Lake Regions has gotten in one of the 3 they had on order
http://www.lakeregionrvs.com/new_veh...05&pov=4240887
The told us at the show that the ones they were getting would have the across the back couch, but looks like it didn't happen.
The pics sure make the bathroom look almost identical to the 210 Roadtrek bathroom.

I like that bin In the front of the cab (along the ceiling). Looks like a stock part. Wonder if it could be easily added to my van.

That part is called the Overhead Console. Part number for the console itself is 1ZR27LA6AB (~$200). The entire assembly looks close to $500.

Re: Roadtrek Zion - Promaster based Class B Motorhome
Can the driver's seat on the Zion recline? There's a cabinet right behind it. Why do they insist on putting the cabinet's so close to the drivers seat?
